Jamie Crest tells me:
"I did the master cleanse for more than a month, and I lost close to 30 lbs in 2 months of fasting. I didn't break the fast gradually, but as of now, I am eating a primarily raw diet.
Unfortunately, I gained back 10 lbs after a couple of week, but I think it's just water weight. My moon cycle is screwed up - I have a feeling when I start to menstruate, I will lose 1/2 of the weight I regained.
Right now, I weight just 190 lbs, but I feel much more lighter than before - I feel the master cleanse has given me a sharp boost of energy. Everyone tells me I look great and slimmer - keep in mind I weight 250 lbs just last year.
I'm definitely not done yet - I want to lose 70 more lbs. I am planning to try another 40-day fast, but it may be too soon, we'll see.
Other than the weight loss, I feel the greatest benefit of the master cleanse is how clean my body feels. When I usually eat, my stomach feels so bloated, and I feel so heavy, and constipated. My bowels get irritated, and my bowel movements are quite fluffy. When I fast, my bowels are so much more consistent and healthier."
Jerry Collins tells me:
"Right now, I am on my 5th day of the master cleanse and have gained back 3 of the 10 lbs I lost during a 14-day juice fast I did a few weeks before master cleansing. I have PMS and the salt water is leading to my bloating. Hopefully, it's just bloating and not real weight gain. I weighed 150 lbs before I started cleansing, and now I weigh 153 lbs a few days into the cleanse.
With the juice fast, I was losing 1/2 a day, and not feeling that bloated. Right now, I do feel quite good, but I hate seeing the pounds go up. I was doing so good with juice fasting, so the weight gain feels a little disappointing. Plus, the bloating is also driving me crazy.
I drank around 10 glasses of lemonade per day. This was because I was working out in the gym everyday, and was burning a ton of calories. I needed the extra lemonade to make sure I wasn't wearing myself out. Eventually I will cut the dosage down to 6 glasses of lemonate a day, and decrease the maple syrup to just 1 tablespoon per glass.
By the way, this is the first time I've ever done a cleanse that's like the master cleanse. Hopefully, it's just my body adjusting to the lemonade and fasting. I'll keep you up to date on my progress."
Eduardo Sanchez emails me:
"I learned about Stanley Burrough's Master Cleanse from CureZone and was pretty intrigued by what people experienced with it, so I decided to try it for myself. Unlike some people, I only was on the master cleanse diet for just 10 days. My results? I lost 10 lbs, almost all of them in the first week. This was the first time I lost this many lbs in so little time. I tried everything including Trimspa, Isagenix, and the South Beach Diet. None of them worked this effectively.
Honestly, though I was on the fast for 10 days for a reason. It is extremely hard to do the master cleanse for a prolonged period of time. I did not cheat during the 10 days, but there were times I was tempted to break it. Thankfully, I didn't. But it drove me crazy - the fact I couldn't eat the foods I want, so I decided to call it quits after 10 days into the cleanse.
My tongue is back to normal, and quite pink. I experienced many health benefits from the master cleanse. I no longer crave sugars or sweets anymore. I no longer reach the diet coke whenever I eat lunch. This, to me is incredible, because I struggled with sugar cravings for so long. I think I may suffer from candida, just like you, but anti-fungal regimens never helped me. Only the master cleanse got rid of these cravings.
So far, I've been off the master cleanse for a few weeks, and I am glad to say I have not regained any of the weight I lost during cleansing. I have been going to the gymanasium 2-3 times a week because the fast has given me so much more energy. My bowel movements are normal - previously they were either liquidy, or very hard.
If you plan to do the master cleanse, I recommend you do it for at least a few days. I didn't experience a lot of benefits the first 2 days, but after that, the benefits just came in a flurry. I lost a good amount of weight, became less constipated, and eliminated my sugar cravings. The master cleanse really did wonders for me."
Sandy Johnson says:
"So good to see a colon cleansing site out there - there aren't many online. Anyway, I wanted to share my experience with the master cleanse. After 7 days of master cleansing, I went from 220 to under 200 lbs. This was a breakthrough for me because I had so much trouble getting under 200. I tried a ton of regimens and diets: low carb, Atkins, you name it. All of them would help me lost 5-10 lbs, but never more than that. The master cleanse finally got me under 200 lbs, and in a short amount of time too!
I am now off the cleanse, and am resting a little bit these days. The only physical activity I've done is just shopping, walking and stuff. I'm positive my weight loss would have been even more if I supplemented the cleanse with a physical program, but I'm just glad I am under 200 lbs for the first time in my long life. I read somewhere that exercising helps removes the toxins out of your body when you cleanse, so the next time I do this cleanse, I will do some yoga or weight lifting.
I also read that the skin does a great job of removing toxins out of your system when you sweat, so I might buy myself a skin brush and give myself a detox bath next time. Anyway, for those who are skeptical about doing the master cleanse, I recommend giving it a try for at least a week. I did it for weight loss, but it should be effective for cleansing, or detoxing."
