Try and focus on drinking more clear liquies along with eating a large amount of green leafy vegetables. This will help to create bulkier stools and prevent the occurrence of constipation.

 

You may also want to add more fiber to your diet in the form of bran or a fiber supplement. This will be a personal choice you need to make, however, after examining what your overall diet is like.

 

-Avoid sitting - finally you should try and avoid sitting as much as possible as this can also increase the pain and discomfort you'll feel while suffering from hemorrhoids. One good idea is to purchase an air donut and sit on that if you must for extended periods of time, as this will help to take the pressure off the anal area.

 

In other cases, your doctor may decide it's best for you to get medical treatment for your hemorrhoids. This will normally be because there is a clot present and it must be removed.
